Waterloos Celebrate 42nd Anniversary
Waterloos are inviting square and round dancers to their 42nd Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Pre-rounds cued by Kay & Bob Kurczewski, will begin at 7:00pm. Mike Bramlett will call squares from 7:30-9:30 pm. Between tips 2 rounds or 1 line dance will be offered between tips. A meal is included with Pork Sliders with Sides, snacks and desserts. A Silent Auction will be held for Homemade Baked Goods, always a crowd pleaser. Hope to see you there. Waco 75th NSDC Pre-Convention Dance
The 75th National Square Dance Convention Pre-Convention dance will be the evening of March 22nd, 2025. Pre-Convention is sort of like a dress rehearsal for the actual National Square Dance Convention that will be in Waco June 24 - 27th, 2026. The 75th NSDC Committee is asking that all clubs and associations not schedule any dances or meetings that weekend so as many dancers as possible can attend this dance. More information will be posted here in the future.

The 36th Annual Wildflower Dance will be held April 12, 2025 with Tim Tyl calling and Bob & Kay Kurczewski cueing. The fun begins with a Mainstream workshop from 1:30-3:00 followed by a Rounds Workshop from 3:30-5:00. Dance begins at 6:30-9:30 with Pre-Rounds from 6:30-7:00pm followed by MS/Plus (2+2) from 7:00-9:00 and ending the evening with All Plus from 9:00-9:30pm. 75th National Square Dance Convention
It is not too early to register for the 75th National Square Dance Convention in Waco, TX. 2026 is the year of the Diamond Jubilee. If you have never been to a National Convention and live in Texas, the National Convention is NOT going to get any closer! The National Square Dance Convention is like a Disneyland for dancers. There are workshops in clogging, contra dancing, round and square dancing, hex and progressive squares, and lines. There are morning dances especially for solo dancers to meet other solos. There are all levels of workshops and dances in square and round dancing. If you want to learn more about the logistics of running or growing a club, there are educational offerings for that as well.
Pre-registration for four full days of dancing is only $60/person and $30 for youth born after June 27th 2009. This pre-registration price is only available until March 22, 2025. There is a very liberal cancellation policy so you have nothing to lose by registering early. Early registration allows the Convention organizers to plan appropriately and know how much additional fundraising will be needed.
This is YOUR state and YOUR convention. Register now and help make the 75th National Square Dance Convention a success. LET’S GO WACO!
