“Come Boldly Dance Your Way Into the Future” at the 2023 Presidents’ Dance Weekend in San Antonio, TX. The Alamo Area SRDA and Texas State Callers’ Association are hosting two nights of dancing, a caller’s workshop, and a State Federation Delegates’ meeting. The weekend will be held at the Hermann Sons Ballroom at 525 South St. Mary’s, San Antonio, TX 78205on the 2nd floor. This venue has one of the best wooden floors in Texas!
Hospitality will be available at Hermann Sons from 3:00 - 5:00 pm in the 2nd floor ballroom. Friday evening begins with Pre-rounds by Ron and Pat Plouch from 7:00 - 7:55 pm. The dance (2 + 2) begins at 8:00 pm. The Friday evening dance will feature callers from all over Texas. Saturday morning there is a Texas State Federation delegate meeting beginning at 9:00 am. In a different room, a callers’ workshop will be going on. Saturday evening Pre-Rounds are from 7:00 - 7:45 followed by a Grand March from 7:50 - 8:00 pm. Steve Kopman, from Knoxville, TN, will be calling Saturday evening and Ron and Pat Plouch will be cueing.
