Come say “Good Bye” and “Bon Voyage” to Dan & Gail Clairmont who will be leaving for a 9 month around the world cruise in December and then touring the U.S. in an RV for an undetermined length of time. Dan & Gail will not be returning to Texas to live so we would like to say Good Bye and to thank Dan for calling for and supporting ASRDA for the past eight years.
The party will start with a potluck dinner. We have some of the best square dance cooks and bakers in Texas so make your best dinner item or dessert so Dan and Gail can remember how we like to eat! Part way through the dinner, we would like attendees to share funny stories about Dan or Dan and Gail with everyone. Remember - This party is about Dan and Gail - not how many dances you can get in during the evening so, if the stories go past 7 pm, please don’t whine. There will not be any round dancing at this event.
After dinner we will have square dancing to include mainstream, plus, and A2. Caller guests include Brad Caldwell as our MC, Wayne Weston, Al Frazier, Billy Grimsley, Christina Wiggins, Glen Rogerson, maybe Dale Smith, and of course, our caller guest of honor, Dan Clairmont.
The party will be at Hyde Park Christian Church (where ASRDA usually dances) from 6 - 9:00PM on Saturday evening November 4th. This event is free as long as you bring something to contribute to the potluck. To make sure that everyone does not bring desserts, we ask that you let Brooke know what category of food you plan to bring - appetizer, chips & dip, salad, casserole, main dish, bread, dessert, or something else.
