Dues/Rosters Due

Must be received by me before July 31

It is that time of year. Please use your June 30th roster (or closest to that) to pay dues for your club. ASRDA does not charge additional dues, so we are keeping the cost to only $5 (what we pay to the Texas Federation). The Texas Federation only charges $5 per member dancer for membership. They in-turn provide dancer's insurance to all members.

By paying your $5 per club member, they become members of ASRDA & the Federation and they have dancer's insurance.

Sundancers Round Dancing Resumes

From our friends up north newsletter:

Our Round Dancing schedule will resume on June 6th in the Atrium. As with square dance, most of us have not been dancing for over a year. Any suggestions for review are welcomed. Below is Jerry & Lucy’s plan.
2-3:45 p.m. for Beginners, working on Waltz at this time
4-5:30 p.m. Phase 3
5:45-7:15 p.m. Phase 4
There will be 2 breaks of 15 minutes. (3:45 & 5:30 p.m.)

Send in Rosters ASAP

I've contacted several of the other District Treasurers around the State and the consensus is that we ARE sending in our rosters and dues this year. If a contrary decision is made later, we will remedy it then.

Please use your current roster (we all will know it's likely from March). It's your call whether to include members if their membership has expired during the shutdown. If your club doesn't have the funds to pay for a member that you put down, I will accept an IOU but I cannot say that the Federation will (we will worry about that later).
