Beginner Rumba & Cha Cha Figures & Dance Routines

(No dancing experience necessary)

This class is an introduction to Rumba & Cha Cha Figures used in Round Dancing that will be put into Round Dances. We will start with Basic Rumba Figures and after mastering these figures we will show you how to convert the Rumba figures into Cha Cha. Then we will incorporate these figures into choreographed Round Dances. These lessons will be held every Wednesday Evening for approximately 6 to 8 weeks and will be progressive. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday Evening for this fun rhythm and putting “U” into the “FUN” of Round Dancing.

Just wanted to let you know we are starting our Classes/Workshops.  

We are restricting the number that can attend the classes/workshops so please contact us prior to attending.  You can telephone us at Kay's cell at 956.460.7520.   Please do not text or email us on attending for we do not live on the computer and at time do not hear the text coming in. 

We feel with the restrictions we can safely conduct our classes.  Attendance is up to the individual along with the wearing of a mask.  PLEASE STAY HOME if you are not feeling well. 

Classes/Workshops are as follows:

Tuesday: 
     2-4 PM    Phase 5-6 Workshop
     7-9 PM    Basic Foxtrot/Waltz Class  

Wednesday:
     1-3 PM   Phase 4-Intro Phase 5 Workshop
     3-5 PM   Phase 3-Intro Phase 4 Workshop

This is the same schedule we had in the past so there should not be that much you have to change.                             

Right now we are not having our Round Dance Party on Thursday afternoons.  We are having a problem with the church in using the hall.  We are currently trying to resolve the issues with the church.

Buckles & Bows has decided to suspend our regular club dancing effective this Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 due to Corona Virus pandemic.  

We plan to resume our dancing and lessons on Wednesday, April 29th, 2020.  

We wish everyone good health and avoidance of the Corona Virus.     

As of now we will be dark the rest of the month of March and are scheduled for April as follows, unless this changes for April

We will be dancing every 2nd and 4th Monday of April thru July at which time we will meet to see if we can continue the club.

In an abundance of caution and with apologies to our students and club members, the Lambdas Board has decided to cancel our Graduation Dance and all other activity until at least April 20th. We will update this decision early in April when we have more information from the various government agencies.
