Austin Square and Round Dance Association

Buckles & Bows will be dark on Thursday evening, April 1st, 2010.  The church has services that evening.   Enjoy your Easter Weekend. 

Buckles & Bows will hold a Graduation Dance on Thursday, March 25, 2010. We have 9 dancers graduating from our Mainstream Lessons at the CP Recreation Center.  ASRDA Mid-Tex Committee will be visiting and everyone is welcome to come and help welcome these new dancers to our Square Dance Community. The dance will be held at our regular dance location, CP First United Methodist Church, 600 West Park Street, Cedar Park.  It will start at 7:30 p.m. 

Edward Lee Koslosky Jr., 42, (son of Ed and Martha) of Brenham, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 17 and 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday, February 18. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. with interment to follow.

John Thomas Blake passed away January 9, 2010, in Austin.

He was married to Nancy Sylvester and they had made their home in Granite Shoals.

John was a long time dancer in Austin belonging to many clubs, most recently the Diamond Masters.

The “Blue Santa” dance on Dec. 7th was a huge success.

ASRDA members contributed 156 toys and $350 to help underprivileged kids have a toy under the Christmas tree.
